One of my favorite places to visit near Lucerne is Niederrickenbach. Take the train to Niederrickenbach Station (20 min) and take the cable car to Niederrickenbach. Possibly go right up with the postman, who supplies the residents with their daily mail. From the small monastery village you can start various beautiful hikes. You will cross cow pastures or pass alps where you can buy the cheese produced. We will be happy to help you plan your hike.
