Arrival by public transport
- By bus 6 or 8 from the bus stop Europe to Lucerne train station.
- From Lucerne train station by boat to Vitznau (journey time: 48min)
- In Vitznau take the rack railroad to the summit of Rigi Kulm (journey time: 32min)
- From the summit of Rigi Kulm back to Rigi Kaltbad by cogwheel train (duration: 18min)
- In Rigi Kaltbad change to the gondola to Weggis. (Journey time: 25min)
- In Weggis take the boat back to Lucerne (duration of the trip: 49min)
Tickets for the boat can be purchased directly at the boat station in Lucerne.
Tickets for the rack railroad in Vitznau. Tickets do not necessarily have to be booked in advance.
Arrival by car
- By car to Weggis cable car (large parking lot in front of the station).
- Weggis to Rigi Kaltbad by gondola (journey time: 27min)
- Rigi Kaltbad to Rigi Kulm by rack railroad (duration of the trip: 17min)
- From the top of Rigi Kulm back to Rigi Kaltbad by rack railroad (18min)
- In Rigi Kaltbad change to the gondola back to Weggis. (Journey time: 25min)
