If you don't want to see other tourists at all during your bathing fun, take a bicycle and ride down the Reuss to the "Reusszopf". The residents from northern Lucerne and the agglomeration meet at the river. The meadow at the river with a children's playground, the beach bar "Nordpol" and public toilets attracts families from the neighborhoods to the water.
