The Mühlenplatz with a view of the Reuss is beautiful, but it's also worth looking around the corner. There you will find Löwengraben with great stores (including glore Luzern) and small restaurants. One of them is Izakaya Nozomi, which offers traditional Japanese cuisine under chef Benjamin Egli-Iwasaki. Be sure to bring a big appetite, because it is guaranteed to be difficult to decide (even for vegetarians)! An early reservation is also worthwhile, because the Nozomi is no longer an insider tip.
