The "cable car Eldorado" Uri offers more than 30 cable cars, one of them leads from Amsteg in only five minutes up to Arni at 1300 meters above sea level. From here you can go for a walk, go biking or have a barbecue at the small Arni lake - and let yourself be fascinated by the mountain world of Central Switzerland. If you want to go even higher and enjoy even more mountain panorama, you can hike two hours from the Arnisee to the Sunniggrat hut at 1978 meters above sea level (staffed from June to October). Here, too, there is a small lake where you can cool off on hot days - unlike at the Arnisee.
